Yes, Harold Pliszka, is a Registered Social Worker with the Alberta College of Social Workers. Harold is also a member (and former Executive Director) of The Social Workers Association of Alberta and the Canadian Association of Social Workers.

Yes. Counselling sessions with Registered Social Workers (like myself) are covered by most benefits programs in a similar fashion as Registered Psychologists.
Upon payment and after each session, you will receive a receipt to make your claim.
Note that coaching and consulting is not usually covered by benefits programs.

Not yet. For now, payment for counselling is paid via e-transfer, cash or cheque prior to sessions.
You will receive a receipt for each counselling session that you can submit to your benefits provider for reimbursement.

GST is not charged on counselling services provided by Registered Social Workers (like myself). GST will be charged for coaching and consulting services.

Counselling services can be offered virtually to people living anywhere in Alberta. In-person services are provided in Calgary, Alberta.
Coaching and consulting services can be provided virtually to people living and working anywhere in the world, or in-person in Calgary, Alberta.
Note that services are only provided in English. -
